When you visit
Visiting a new church can be intimidating: What should I wear? Where do I park? Where do my kids go? We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. Below are some frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to contact us or talk with an usher when you visit.
When are services?
Daily Mass Times
Monday - Friday at 8:15 am in the Chapel.
Saturday Morning at 8:15 am in the Chapel.
Wednesdays during the school year, the 8:15 am Mass is the School Mass and Celebrated in the Church with our students.
Saturday Masses
English Vigil Mass at 4:30 pm in the Church.
Sunday Masses
7:30 am, 11:00 am, in the Church
Mass in Creole
7:30 pm every Saturday in the Chapel.
Mass in Spanish
1:00 pm every Sunday in the Church.
Mass in Vietnamese
9:00 am every Sunday in the Church.

What should I wear?
Casual business Attire.
How do I get to St. Joseph's?
We are in the Northbound lane of Hwy 17 in Winter Haven across from the Northgate Shopping Center.
Where should I park?
Gate to large parking is North of the Church on Hwy 17 with handicapped parking and ramp entry directly behind the parish center. Parking also available across Ave. M on the South side in the Chapel and Family Life Center lot.
Where do my children go?
Children stay with their family. There is no cry room or segregated seating.
I'm not Catholic... so, how do I know when to site, stand, and kneel?
The song leader will sometimes indicate when to stand with raised hands, normally done when the gospel is read. Kneeling occurs during the Liturgy of the Eucharist. The best way to know is to follow the lead of the congregation.
I'm not Catholic... is it okay for me to participate in communion?
From the Catechism of the Catholic Church: 1400 Ecclesial communities derived from the Reformation and separated from the Catholic Church, "have not preserved the proper reality of the Eucharistic mystery in its fullness, especially because of the absence of the sacrament of Holy Orders."236 It is for this reason that Eucharistic intercommunion with these communities is not possible for the Catholic Church. However these ecclesial communities, "when they commemorate the Lord's death and resurrection in the Holy Supper . . . profess that it signifies life in communion with Christ and await his coming in glory."237
Am I expected to put money in the offering?
No

Readings are projected and voices amplified through a sound system.
Importance of registration
Please make sure you are a registered Church family. Sacramental sponsorship depends on proof of active participation in Church life which can only be followed by meeting registration criteria. Call or stop by the Church Office today.
